Most prefilled kits make you choose between a tiny pod that runs dry in a day and a disposable you throw in the bin. The IVG Nexio 10K Prefilled Pod Kit splits the difference: a rechargeable device you keep, and a sealed 10ml pod set you swap when it is finished.

The IVG Nexio 10K is a prefilled pod kit with a 1000mAh USB-C battery, a 2ml prefilled pod joined to an 8ml auto-refill container, 20mg nicotine salt e-liquid and a built-in 1.0Ω mesh coil. IVG rates each pod set at up to 10,000 puffs, and we stock it in 30 flavours.

IVG Nexio 10K Overview

IVG launched the Nexio in the UK on 9 July 2026 as its first true pod system, built for people moving on from disposables after the 2025 ban. It is a closed system: you do not fill it, change coils or adjust anything. The device holds the battery, the display and the draw sensor. The pod set holds the e-liquid and the coil. When the e-liquid is gone, you fit a fresh set of IVG Nexio 10K refill pods and carry on with the same device.

The body is the long, flat shape most big-puff kits use, with ridges along the edges for grip. A small screen on the front lights up when you draw and shows the battery percentage, then fades. There is no button, no wattage setting and no airflow ring, which is exactly the point for a prefilled kit: pick a flavour, fit the pod and inhale.

What Is in the IVG Nexio Box

How the 2ml Pod and 8ml Refill Container Work

UK rules cap a nicotine pod at 2ml, which is why older prefilled kits ran out so quickly. The Nexio gets round that without breaking the rule. The 2ml pod at the top is the part you vape from, with the coil inside. The 8ml container clips to the bottom of it and feeds the pod as you use it, so the pod stays topped up until the container is empty. Together they hold 10ml.

"Auto-refill" describes that transfer between the two sealed parts. It does not mean you can open either part or add bottled e-liquid. Both pieces are factory sealed, and the whole 2ml plus 8ml assembly is replaced as one unit. The pod is semi-transparent, so you can see roughly how much liquid is left rather than guessing from the battery display.

IVG Nexio Kit or IVG Nexio Refill Pods: Which Do You Need?

This is the question we get asked most, because the two listings look similar.

The refill pods cost less than the kit and come in the same 30 flavours, so you can change flavour every time you swap. They only fit the Nexio device. They do not fit the IVG Pro 12, Smart Max or Air, and those pods do not fit the Nexio.

Battery, Display and Charging

A 1000mAh battery is generous for a kit this size. Heavy users will still charge daily; lighter users get well into a second day. The display shows a percentage each time you draw, so a flat battery does not catch you out, and you can see when to plug in long before the device stops firing.

Charging is over USB-C with your own cable. Charge it when the percentage is low, unplug when it is full, and do not leave it charging overnight. One thing worth knowing: the battery and the pod empty at different rates. Charging the device does not add e-liquid, and fitting a new pod does not charge the battery, so check both when performance drops.

How Long Does a 10,000 Puff Vape Last?

The 10,000 figure is IVG's estimate for one full 10ml pod set under test conditions, with short, machine-measured puffs. Real use varies. Someone taking longer draws, or drawing more often, will reach the end of the set sooner, and the number on the box is a ceiling rather than a promise.

A better way to think about it is in days. At around 300 puffs a day, which is typical for a moderate user, a 10ml set lasts roughly a month. At 600 puffs a day it is closer to a fortnight. When vapour thins, flavour fades or the pod looks empty, fit a fresh set. A set that finishes below 10,000 is not faulty; it simply reflects how you vape.

If you want a cooler finish, look for Ice, Freeze or Frozen in the name. Fizz, Cola and Lemonade are the drink-style profiles, and Sour means a sharp tang on the exhale. Classic Menthol, Fresh Mint and Spearmint are the cleanest options for anyone who finds fruit flavours too sweet.

IVG Nexio Troubleshooting

Check these before assuming the kit is faulty. Stop using any device that is damaged, unusually hot or leaking.

It will not fire or produces no vapour

Draw to wake the display and check the battery percentage. Make sure the sticker and silicone stopper were removed from the pod parts, that the 2ml pod is fully clicked onto the 8ml container, and that the whole set is seated firmly in the device. Remove and refit the pod if the contacts look wet, wiping the base dry first.

It tastes burnt

Look through the pod. If the liquid has gone, the coil is running dry and the set needs replacing. If there is liquid but the taste is harsh, take shorter puffs for a few draws, and check the battery is not nearly flat, which can make the coil misfire. A persistently burnt pod should be replaced rather than pushed on with.

The pod is leaking

Remove the pod, wipe the base and the device contacts with a dry tissue and refit. A little condensation after a long session is normal. Steady leaking usually means the pod has been dropped or the two halves are not properly joined, in which case fit a new set.

It will not charge

Try another USB-C cable and a different power source, and make sure the port is free of lint. The display should respond while charging. If the device still shows no charge after an hour on a known-good cable, contact us with your order number.

Is the IVG Nexio Legal in the UK?

Yes. The UK banned single-use disposable vapes from 1 June 2025, but reusable devices with a rechargeable battery and replaceable pods are allowed. The Nexio is exactly that. Each pod holds 2ml and the e-liquid is 20mg/ml, which are the limits set by the Tobacco and Related Products Regulations, and the extra e-liquid sits in a separate sealed container as the rules permit. Every IVG product we sell is notified to the MHRA and comes from UK stock.

Who the IVG Nexio Suits

The Nexio is built for someone who wants the simplicity of a disposable with less waste and a lower running cost. Buy the kit once, then buy pods. It is a strong choice for a switcher coming off cigarettes: the mouth-to-lung draw is close to a cigarette, the 20mg salt satisfies quickly, and there is nothing to learn or set up.

It is not the right choice if you want lower nicotine. The Nexio is 20mg only. For 10mg or nicotine-free pods, look at the IVG Pro 12, which we stock in 10mg and zero nicotine as well as 20mg. Care, Storage and Safety

Store the kit and spare pods below 25°C, out of direct sun and upright, and keep everything out of reach of children and pets. Charge only with a USB-C cable in good condition, never overnight. Do not open the pod or container, and do not use a pod that is swollen or cracked. When a pod set is finished, take it and the device, at the end of its life, to an electrical or battery recycling point rather than putting them in household waste.
